Title: PK-3 Leadership Program Director

Bio: Dr. Fedigan is the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction in Darien Public Schools. Dr. Fedigan first began her professional journey in the middle school world language classroom after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Secondary Education from St. Michael’s College (Colchester, VT). She was named a National Board Certified Teacher, EAYA World Language in 2004. Dr. Fedigan completed a Master of Science Degree in Special Education with a concentration in behavioral studies and a Sixth Year Degree in Educational Leadership, both from Southern Connecticut State University. Dr. Fedigan served as Assistant Principal of East Shore Middle School and then principal of Calf Pen Meadow Elementary School, both in Milford, CT. She earned her doctoral degree in educational leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. Dr. Fedigan has participated in the Yale Seedlings Institute for Social-Emotional Learning in the field of education. Additionally, she participated in the UConn Neag School of Education PK-3 Leadership program (2015) and found the experience to be relevant and inspiring for leading this critical work. She has been a presenter for the PK-3 Leadership program and is thrilled to now serve as the program director.
