Biography:

Heather McDonald is Assistant Vice President for Development at the UConn Foundation serves on the Neag School of Education advancement team as director of development and works to engage alumni, foundations, and corporations in the strategic development of faculty research, graduate fellowships and student scholarships. Prior to joining the Neag School, she worked in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at UConn as assistant and then associate director of development. Originally joining the University in July of 2000, Heather has worked in a variety of capacities including hall director and community director in residential life and then program director and interim director of annual giving at the UConn Foundation. Heather has a Graduate Certificate in Non-profit Management and Leadership from the University of Connecticut. She received her Master of Education with a focus on Administration and Supervision from the University of Hartford and her Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies with a focus on Human Resources and Social Change and a minor in Communication Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
