Biography
Alexandra Ghiz is the publicity/marketing coordinator at the Neag School of Education. She supports promotion, marketing activities, and special projects for the Neag School of Education, as well as carries out publicity and marketing strategies for various events and programs to engage Neag School alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
Before joining the team at the Neag School, Alexandra served on the marketing and communications teams at The Winsor School in Boston and, most recently, at The Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts. At Rivers, she led editorial work and managed the production of the Riparian, Rivers’ alumni magazine, and elevated the presence of Rivers’ social media channels. In addition to serving as team project manager for print and digital projects, Alexandra wrote and published weekly news articles for the Rivers website on topics related to the life of the school.
Prior to that, Alexandra served in an operations role in the dean’s office for the School of Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, where she managed logistics surrounding the re-accreditation of seven engineering programs in 2019, and ran the yearly capstone showcase for graduating engineering students for five years. Her dedication earned her the president’s award for service to faculty in 2019.
Alexandra earned an MS in strategic marketing communications from Fordham University and a BA in music and Italian from Smith College. Outside of her work in marketing, Alexandra enjoys an active career as a professional classical singer.
