On March 20, 2018, U.S. News released their rankings for best public graduate schools of education for 2019, placing UConn’s Neag School at number 17. This ranking is not exactly unexpected, as Neag has consistently placed within the top 20 schools for the past three years.
The Neag School of Education ranked 27 this year. In addition, U.S. News ranked three of the Neag School’s specialty programs among the top 20 in the nation. Those were: Special Education, 15; Educational Psychology, 18; and Secondary Teacher Education, 18.
U.S. News & World Report released its annual national rankings of graduate schools of education on March 10, with the Neag School of Education ranking No. 31 in the nation, up two slots this year from No. 33.
The U.S. News & World Report released its 2015 rankings and the Neag School of Education continues to achieve top-ranking status, ranking #33 in the nation. This ranking puts the Neag School at #24 among all public graduate schools of education in the nation.
The Neag School of Education is now home to 17 new faculty—a mix of junior and senior faculty and recognized across the nation as top scholars in the field of education and workforce development. Combining the Neag School ‘s outstanding new faculty hires with the school’s already nationally recognized faculty, and the possibilities of what the Neag School will accomplish with respect to meaningful, nationwide education reform are endless.
