UConn researchers are key members in a cross-state educational COVID-19 collaboration, co-led by Neag School associate dean Morgaen Donaldson.

Interdisciplinary collaboration between the Neag School, co-created by Sandra Chafouleas, and Ballard Institute goes high tech with the help of the UConn Tech Park, to the benefit of children across the state.

For a decade, researchers from the Neag School of Education have worked with the state on an ambitious literacy initiative designed to close Connecticut’s significant achievement gap. Their efforts have proved so successful that now a program that began with a few pilot schools is set for significant expansion to school districts of need across the state.

Davidesco, an assistant professor in the Neag School of Education, is the recipient of an NSF Early Career Development (CAREER) Program award. This prestigious grant supports the research of early-career faculty who demonstrate remarkable potential to become leaders in their field. Additionally, the award seeks to support projects that actively engage students and the community.
